Week 4 – 10/2/13: “Right to CreaTE or Rights of Creation” & Prof. Greg Lastowka
Week 4 features a wonderful talk from Greg Lastowka of Rutgers Law. Though we could see Greg’s slides in class the video-capture system cannot simultaneously access slides fed remotely and a remote video feed. So you are stuck with a second screen of me during Greg’s talk which most fortunately can simply be turned off (please). Greg’s slides are below so you can follow along courtesy of your own manual dexterity.
Note: There is currently a bit of a dead-zone between 1:00:34 & 1:04:19 as we set up for Greg, which you can painlessly skip over.

Week 3 – 9/25/13: “John Milton Plays GPL” & Steve Rechtshaffner
Here is Week 3. Came out pretty well other then my asking for a Kleenex to clean my glasses & the surreal picture within picture within picture effect at the beginning of Steve’s presentation and the evidence of my scrambling to play TV producer and fix that effect. To download the slides just scroll over the image.

Week 2 – 9/11/13: “If Picasso had..” & Roch Ripley Part 1
Here is Week 2. Major points (but no marks) for finding Roch. Am certain this was simply an homage to the “Easter Egg” meme that prevails in video games. Thankfully Roch has an awesome voice, so theatre of mind works just fine 😉 Related to this is the fact that in experimenting with the video, zoomed in a bit compared to last week. Surprise was that because the system has a digital lens, this resulted in some loss of resolution.
As with last week, the video and slide links below are: 1.Click-through to full size MediaSite player (video & slides); 2. Embedded MediaSite player (video & slides) but not expandable to full size – particularly great in background for audio only; 3. YouTube version (no slides); 4. Jon & Roch’s Slides for download. No 23 second loss of audio this week…

Week 1 – 9/4/13: “Introduction”
Thanks to all for a fun first class. Sorry for my scratchy voice. Was not auditioning for a post midnight FM radio gig. Working on getting better. The video and slide links below are: 1.Click-through to full size MediaSite player (video & slides); 2. Embedded MediaSite player (video & slides) but not expandable to full size – particularly great in background for audio only; 3. YouTube version (no slides); 4. Slides download. Please note that the first 23 seconds of audio are missing for some reason.
