Fascinating presentation; great job you two!
The idea of turning off VR input when under assault was particularly intriguing. One might think, in contrast to physical (sexual) assault, that may make “escape” a lot faster/easier, but then again, the freeze response would kick in nonetheless (plus the impact of trauma would be more or less the same).
Nevertheless the idea reminded me of the Z-Eye tech in Black Mirror… maybe we’re not too far from reaching that level of technology.
